On Monday, April 12th, 2021 at 3:45 pm, Ruben Rivera Luna, known as "Luna", peacefully took his last breath on earth and moved on to his new celestial home.  He "fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith"

He was born to Martin Rivera and Julia Luna on February 13th, 1939.  Luna had a passion for the Lord and His word.  He spent most of his time reading the Scriptures, in prayer, composing sermons and songs.  He loved nature and enjoyed gardening.  His songs will remain in our hearts and memories always.

Luna is survived by his wife of 34 years, Maria Gloria Rivera-Luna, his step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  He will be missed.

A funeral viewing is scheduled for Friday, April 16th, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Branch Brook Memorial Home, Belleville, NJ.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 17th at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  May God bless us all and may we rejoice in his memory.
