Our beloved Michael Thielemann Sr. passed away April 10th, 2021 at home in Anchorage, AK. Michael was born to parents William Thielemann and Eileen Betty on March 17th, 1966 in Wilmington, DE. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1985-1986. In that year, he served on the USS Tuscaloosa (LST-1187). In 1989, Michael decided to make Alaska his new home. He was able to enjoy the states abundance of beautiful scenery and wildlife. He also partook in a fair amount of golf, fishing, and fixing up cars and boats. He was a loyal, hardworking, family man and was a friend to everyone. Michael will be at peace in Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery. Michael is survived by his mother Eileen Betty, his partner Mildred Lindstrom, brother Richard Thielemann, son Michael Thielemann Jr., daughter Amber Thielemann, Mildred’s daughters Camille DeVries, Nicole Webster, Antonia Kelly, and Alicia Kelly, and his grandchildren Harper Leach, Liam Thielemann, Malek Thielemann, and Mila Thielemann. He was preceded in death by his father William Thielemann, sister Kathleen Thielemann, and daughter Shelby Thielemann.
