Marjorie Gleaton Locklear
Marjorie Gleaton Locklear, age 86, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021, at her home in Wildwood, FL. Margie was born in Orangeburg, SC, on September 30, 1934, a daughter of the late Mike Harmon and Chrystalbell Gleaton. On November 5, 1954, she married Raymond Mark Locklear whom she met in Myrtle Beach, SC. They raised three children after moving to Wildwood, FL. Here they enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. Margie is survived by her daughter-in-law Jackie Locklear (and her two sons Trae and Ross Locklear); daughter Pam Keillor and son-in-law Jim Keillor (and their two children Jamin Keillor and his wife Lorie Keillor and Kimberly Davis and her husband Justin Davis); and Mark Locklear, Jr. and daughter-in-law Marla Locklear (and their son Cody Locklear and his wife Stephanie Locklear), along with great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters Louise Kirkland and Beverly Jeffcoat and sisters-in-law Lavonia Holgate and Merrill Bloomfield. Margie is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Raymond Mark Locklear and son, Hiram Jackson Locklear. A memorial service will be held at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 11:30 AM.
