Larry E. Renfro Of Arlington Heights Larry E. Renfro was born on March 12, 1939, in Spencer, Iowa to Charles and Audrey (nee Karr) Renfro. He died Monday, April 12, 2021, at his home. Before retiring Mr. Renfro was a security specialist, employed with Illinois Bell and AT&T for over 27 years. He served in the Marine Corps from 1961 until 1999 and was a Lieutenant Colonel at the time he retired. Larry was a former member and a past president of the Rob Roy Golf League, and he was a longtime supporter of Special Olympics and the Fraternal Order of Police. Larry enjoyed spending his winters in Scottsdale, Arizona. Larry is survived by his daughter, Linda Renfro, his son, Rick Renfro, his daughter Karen (Steve) Trachsel; his grandchildren Tyler and Ryan Trachsel, and Beck Renfro; his sister, Joyce O'Connor, and his brother, Charles R. Renfro. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Naomi Joan Renfro; his parents Charles and Audrey, and his brother, Lloyd Renfro. Funeral Services are private.
