<p>Service for Jay Roger Ontiveros, 73 of Lubbock, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Agape Funeral Chapel, with Deacon Isaac McDonald officiating. Jay passed away on April 9, 2021 at his home in Lubbock. He was born on February 1, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to his late parents; Jesus and Josephine Ontiveros. Jay attended Lubbock High School and entered into the Marine Corps. He met Margaret Garcia and they were married August 7, 1977. They had two daughters: Naomi and Norma.</p> <p>Jay was a beloved son, father, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents and wonderful stepfather Herbert &ldquo;Brownie&rdquo; Brown. Survivors include his daughters Naomi Ontiveros McDonald and husband Isaac,&nbsp; Norma Ontiveros Valdez and husband Rene of Lubbock, TX. Four Grandchildren: Caleb &amp; Samuel McDonald and Aidan &amp; Jaedyn Valdez. Siblings: Mary Lou Villegas of Lubbock, TX, James Ontiveros and wife Jessie of Newton, KS and Jerry Ontiveros and wife Cindy of New Deal, Texas.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
