Larry Patterson Baker 72, of Mexico City, MO, died Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in St. Louis. Born July 21, 1948 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Len C. Baker and Juanita Patterson Bugg Ryncarz. Larry was a self- employed truck driver and horse enthusiast. Survivors include two sons: Scotty (Tracy) Baker and Travis Dean Baker both of Harrodsburg, one brother: Bernice (Alice) Baker of Harrodsburg ; two sisters: Vickie Johnson of Danville and Debbie (Jodie) Simpson of Harrodsburg ; ten grandchildren: Cody Lynn Baker, Hunter Scott Baker, Hailey Darland, Noah Scott Darland, Madison Grace Darland, Adam Baker, Paul Travis Wilson, Dustin Baker, Krystal Lozier and Kennedy Standberry, four great grandchildren: Grayson Wilson, Addyson Baker, Jameson Baker and Maddox Baker. He was preceded in death by an infant brother: Bruce Baker. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. James Harley officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Bruce Smithey, David Engleman, Buddy Logue, Dustin Baker, Mike Simpson and Josh Simpson serving as pallbearers. Grandchildren will be serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
