Our prince Phil passed away with a smile on his face, peacefully at home in Anchorage, AK on April 8th, 2021. He was a protector of the family, especially to his mother Harriet. He was wise, insightful, and passionate about fishing and his crafts. Phil was an Alaskan Native Artist who specialized in jewelry and leather pouches. He would help anyone without hesitation. Phil will be greatly missed by all who knew him. There will be a service in his memory April 16th, 2021 @ 11AM-1PM, at Evergreen Memorial Chapel in downtown Anchorage. A Celebration of Life will follow @ 2:30PM-5PM, at 2705 Klamath Dr. in Anchorage. There will also be another gathering afterwards @ 5:30PM-8PM, at Central Lutheran Church, 1420 Cordova St. in Anchorage. Honorary Pallbearers are Geo, Tony, Chad, Kamachi, Douglas, and Carl. Phillip was preceded in death by his father Phillip Moreno Sr., sister Diane Moreno, and his nephew Johnny Josetsen Jr. He is survived by his mother Harriet Miyasato Beleal, brothers George Moreno, Anthony Moreno, and Chad Titell, sisters Lynette Moreno Hinz, Rachel Moreno, Paulette Moreno, and Rita Miller, daughter Renae Zackar (Greg), granddaughters Alicia Tinney, Sharolynn Zackar, and Tatianna Zackar, grandsons Gregory Zackar and Simeon Zackar, great-granddaughter Anafasia Tinney, nieces Stephanie Moreno, Mary Soots, Staergaven Silk Craig, Tammy Silk, Elizabeth Vanderway Burson, Shaleena Delgado, Marissa Delgado, nephews Kamachi Moreno, Douglas Silk, and Ty Waldron.
