Nora Fischer ~ Feb 4, 1928 (Oshawa, ON) - April 5, 2021 (Lindsay, ON) We are deeply saddened that we announce Nora passed away peacefully in Lindsay, ON at Extendicare, at the age of 93. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Treasured sister to Miriam and Lily. Beloved mother to Helena (Jean-Pierre). Cherished grandmother to Kristin (Chris), Meghan (Adam) and Melissa (Jeff). Great-grandmother to Sasha. Predeceased by her son David, her husband Ed and her sister Hellen. Nora was a chartered accountant, an artist, an athletic enthusiast of skiing and tennis and was well known for her fashion outfits. She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the age of 70, battling this disease for over 20 years but never letting it stop her living her life to the fullest. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
