Betty Ann Parker 73 of Vale died Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Atrium Health Main Carolinas Med Center. Born January 29th, 1948 she was the daughter of the late John Luther Pace and Eunice Lizzie Pace.  Always putting others before herself, she raised a big, loving family. She had a special fondness for her grandchildren. She took care of a lot of people as a CNA at Abernethy Center for over 37 years.

Her husband of 57 years, Lewis Alvin Parker; three daughters, Jeanie Parker of Lincolnton, Crystal Calhoun and husband Brian of St. Cloud, FL and Elizabeth Wooten and husband Billy of Hickory; three sons, Daniel Parker and wife Joelle of Cherryville, Johnny Parker of Conover and Charles Parker of Vale; a sister, Linda Hill of Pumpkintown, SC and a brother, Charles Pace of Traveler's Rest, SC and eight grandchildren survive her.

The funeral will be 2:00 pm Friday April 16, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Causby Officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn.

The family will receive friends from from 1-2:00 PM at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
