Bonnie Lee Jensen Obituary

Bonnie Jensen passed away on April 4, 2021 at home at the age of 74.  She was born in Seattle, WA to Vernon and Jessie Kelley on November 22, 1946.

She graduated in 1965 from Enumclaw High School and married her high school sweetheart Larry Jensen the following year. Her work career started in Seattle with ABC Record and Tape Sales and Collier Encyclopedia Sales.  She came back to work in Enumclaw at Capital Finance and Sunrise Pharmacy. She finished her career at Enumclaw High School, where she retired in 2004.

Bonnie had an artistic flair for painting and creating. She painted picture and toll painted for many years. She loved planting plants and growing vegetables and sold many “salad bowls” to friends in the springtime.  Bonnie also had a deep love for animals, especially horses, which were a big part of her life.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Jessie Kelley, sister Sharon Graves, and niece Wendy Graves.  She is survived by her husband Larry Jensen; brother Randy Kelley; children John (Donna) and Kelley (Sanya) Jensen; grandchildren Jenelle, Blair and Kody Jensen; great granddaughter Abigail Suckow; and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the Enumclaw Fire Department and King County Medic One for their tireless efforts. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Enumclaw Fire Department or you local Humane Society. Per Bonnie’s wishes, there will be no service.
