CANINI, Angelo It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Angelo Canini peacefully at his home in Burlington. United in heaven with his love Jean, his parents Lavia & Andrea and brother Guiseppe who he deeply missed. Beloved father of Lynda & Stephen (Kara) & Papa to Adam,Owen & Claire. Angelo will be greatly missed by his siblings Ernesto,Luciano,Dominica & Mario Angelo was born in Italy. Immigrated to Canada in the late 50's. He lived most of his life in Toronto where he meet Jean & raised his family. Angelo had a long career as a barber. He was dedicated to his profession & honoured to be a barber to many of Toronto's media & sports personalities. Angelo always had a story to tell or an idea for a new business venture. Loved Italian soccer and long drives on a Sunday searching for a farm to buy. His grandchildren who he adored always looked forward to listening to one of Papa Canini's jokes or stories. A kind, gentle, joyful man who loved his family & friends. Angelo was even happier when he was together with family & friends sharing conversation, laughs, good food & offering a quick trim to whoever needed one. In moments such as theses our we will take comfort in cherishing the many happy memories of Angelo's life. A private Private Cremation will be held on Friday April 16th with a Memorial Mass to follow in the near future.
