<p><br /> <span style="font-size:18px;"><em><strong>Alex Thomas Delso, 83, died peacefully in his home Saturday, April 10, 2021. Alex was born August 26, 1937, to Alex and Marguerite (Bowdler) Delso. He lived in Dewar most of his life. He married Kathleen Thomas on August 30, 1958, in Dewar, Oklahoma. He was a proud U.S. Veteran serving with the United States Marines.<br /> He served as a Board Member of the Dewar Public School and Council Member of the Town of Dewar. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemason.<br /> <br /> He worked at PPG Industries for 16 years and later enrolled as a student at OSU<br /> Okmulgee in 1974. He became a Plumbing and Pipefitting Instructor at OSU<br /> Okmulgee and taught for 20 years.<br /> <br /> Alex was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Daniel James Delso.<br /> <br /> Alex is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of 62 years. Also surviving are three<br /> children, Thomas Wayne Delso of Dewar, Oklahoma; Alexia Kaye Bible and husband Dennis of Morris, Oklahoma; Roxanne Kathleen Delso of Dewar, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren, Laura Marquez and husband Reggie of Park Hill, Oklahoma; Heather Young and husband Morgan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Jesse Bible and wife Sarah of Council Hill, Oklahoma; Jayme Sharp and husband Matt of Morris, Oklahoma; Logan Delso and wife Shelby of Dewar, Oklahoma. Eleven<br /> great-grandchildren, Luke Marquez, Carli and Chloe Young, Deklan, Liam, and Turner Bible, Easton and Peyton Sharp, Adelynn, Kyleigh, and Nova Delso, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Alex Thomas Delso, 83, died peacefully in his home Saturday, April 10, 2021. Alex was born August 26, 1937, to Alex and Marguerite (Bowdler) Delso. He lived in Dewar most of his life. He married Kathleen Thomas on August 30, 1958, in Dewar, Oklahoma. He was a proud U.S. Veteran serving with the United States Marines.
He served as a Board Member of the Dewar Public School and Council Member of the Town of Dewar. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemason.

He worked at PPG Industries for 16 years and later enrolled as a student at OSU
Okmulgee in 1974. He became a Plumbing and Pipefitting Instructor at OSU
Okmulgee and taught for 20 years.

Alex was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Daniel James Delso.

Alex is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of 62 years. Also surviving are three
children, Thomas Wayne Delso of Dewar, Oklahoma; Alexia Kaye Bible and husband Dennis of Morris, Oklahoma; Roxanne Kathleen Delso of Dewar, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren, Laura Marquez and husband Reggie of Park Hill, Oklahoma; Heather Young and husband Morgan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Jesse Bible and wife Sarah of Council Hill, Oklahoma; Jayme Sharp and husband Matt of Morris, Oklahoma; Logan Delso and wife Shelby of Dewar, Oklahoma. At Alex’s request, the casket will remain closed with no public viewing.
