Genevieve L. Carlson went home to our Lord on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. Genevieve was born on September 2, 1923 to Minote and Clementina Trossello in Albuquerque. She had two sisters, Mary Trossello (deceased) and Irene Davison (Bill/deceased). On May 1, 1943 she married the love of her life, Charles Carlson. The couple had two children, Charles Carlson, Jr. (JoAnn) and Beverlee Henry (Steven/deceased).

Genevieve had four grandchildren, David Henry (Kimberly), Brian Henry (Allison), Jennifer Sakolosky (Jeff), and Barbara Harvin (Chris); nine great-grandchildren, Autumn Henry, Kyle Henry, Nicholas Henry, Justin Henry, Rylee Harvin, Jake Sakolosky, Chase Harvin, Dylan Sakolosky, and Brayden Henry. Genevieve is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family was the center of Genevieve's life. She loved her entire family with her whole heart.

Charles and Genevieve owned Carlson's Jewelry in Albuquerque until retirement in 1983. At that time, they purchased a motor home and began touring the United States. They joined several RV groups where they met many new friends who became like a second family.

We wish to thank all of the kind and caring staff at MorningStar of Rio Rancho and Silver Linings Hospice who gave Genevieve love and gentle care for the last 19 months of her life.

Due to Covid restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later time.
