Mr. Jack Leonard Dupré, age 70, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Deville, Louisiana. Services for Mr. Dupré will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Esler Field Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow the services in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Mr. Dupré was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was always on the move, whether it was yardwork or woodworking, he was never seen sitting idle. Mr. Dupré served on the Alexandria Police Department for 30 years, and retired as Captain. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling jokes and pranking people. Mr. Dupré was a faithful member of Esler Field Baptist Church for many years and will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Dupré; parents, Mason Dupré and Jean Pitre Dupré; brother, Mason J. Dupré, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Beulah Lopez Dupré; daughters, Kimberly Dupré, Tara Church (Corey), and Amanda Cooksey (Brandon); sons, Ralph Carpenter and Ryan Deville; brother, David Milton Dupré; grandchildren, Trey and Cooper Church, Brandon, Dalton, and Trenton Deville, and Payton Cooksey.
