Ronnie Hosea, 71, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away April 9, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 30, 1950, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Ollie O. and Sarah (Creek) Hosea. Ronnie was united in marriage to Brenda Suiter on April 9, 1973, and to this union a daughter, Penney, was born. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Melba Hosea Purl. Ronnie was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army as an Electric Engineer. He worked for many years for Darling Store Fixtures. Ronnie enjoyed raising his cattle. He was a good singer who had fun singing karaoke. Everybody who met Ronnie knew he loved to talk and visit. He never met a stranger and was loved by many; but it was his family who held a special place in his heart. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hosea; daughter, Penney and husband Adam of Piggott, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Aden and Ava Baggett; sisters, Geraldine Haywood and Rosemary West; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Hall Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Shelley Elkins officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Baggett, Aden Baggett, Ricardo Garfias, Danny Null, Linn Beaver, and Charles Hosea. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
