Rev. Gary Fields

Gary L. Fields, son of the late Clayton and Jeanette Fields was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 72 years, 10 months and 11 days of age at the time of his passing. Gary was an ordained Bishop of The Church Of God, having pastored six churches in over 40 years of ministry. He obtained a Masters Of Arts in Pastorial Ministry and Bible. The love of his life was his wife and family and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Heaven was his hope and now is his home. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Farler Fields of Jeremiah, Kentucky. One son, David K. (Angie Hatton) Fields of Whitesburg, Kentucky. A daughter, Misty L. (Donnie) Johnson of Morristown, Tennessee. Four brothers; Clayton "Buddy" Fields of West Carrolton, Ohio, Larry W. Fields of Wallins Creek, Kentucky, Tommy C. Fields of Glasgow, Kentucky and David R. Fields of Knoxville, Tennessee. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Lauren Fields, Jarred Day (U.S.A.F.), and Samuel Fields. Three great grandchildren; Cullen Breeding, Channing Breeding, Paxton Day and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Gary was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Bobby K. Fields and a great grandson, Cooper Day.
