Ethel E. D’Amelio (Feole), 91, of Cranston, passed away peacefully Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hope Health Hospice, Providence. Ethel was the wife of the late John Anthony D’Amelio. She was the daughter of the late Costantino and Ida (Santantonio) Feole.

Ethel was a teacher assistant working in the Providence school system before retiring 30 years ago. She was a graduate of Central High School, Providence and a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.

A beloved mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Gloria Stoehr, of Cranston, Joseph D’Amelio and his wife Gwenn of Augusta, Georgia and was the mother in law of the late John Stoehr. She was the devoted grandmother of Ashley Anna Stoehr and fiancé Kevin Sweeney, Jordan D’Amelio and John D’Amelio.

She was the sister of the late Margie Sisto and Edith Conca. Ethel is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Her VISITATION will be held Monday 9-10:15 AM at “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, West Warwick.
