A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church of Lyons Point for Winona Cormier Monceaux, 88, who died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at her residence in Crowley, LA. Fr. Neil Petit will celebrate the Mass and the burial will follow in the Woodlawn Mausoleum. Visitation may be observed on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley from 9:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. Monday. Mrs. Monceaux was born October 31, 1932 in Crowley, LA to the late Vernice (Bish) and Helen Simon Cormier. She is survived by 1 daughter Sherry Herpin of Kaplan, LA; 3 sons, Michael Monceaux and his wife Lou Ann of Alexandria, LA, Rickey Monceaux and his wife Patti of New Iberia, LA and Ted Monceaux and his wife Janice of Crowley, LA; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Alvin Monceaux; her parents; 1 son, Tracy Monceaux and 1 sister, Anna Lou Cormier.
