William Joseph McQueen<br />Graveside service for Mr. William Joseph McQueen, 91, of Monroe, LA, formerly of Greenville, MS, will be held 2:00PM Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville, MS. Local arrangement are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home 2308 Sterlington Rd. Monroe and arrangements in Greenville under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home. <br />Mr. McQueen was born on October 5, 1929 in Greenville, MS, to Earl Kennedy McQueen and Annie Dell Dickerson McQueen, and passed away on April 8, 2021, in Monroe. He lived 80 years in Greenville, MS. He was a U. S. Army veteran serving in the 97th Signal Battalion as a corporal. Mr. McQueen was also a 32 degree mason since 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Adams McQueen; two brothers, Elvis, and Jack McQueen; and son, Mark McQueen. <br />Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Herren and husband John of Monroe, LA; two grandchildren, Alexandra Herren Jones of Monroe and Joseph McQueen and wife Dixie of Charleston, SC; three great grandchildren, Leland Herren, and twins, Acen and Aisley Bretton; and numerous nieces and nephews. <br />Mortimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.<br />
