<p>Dontarius Jayrell “DT” Long, 25, of Springfield, passed from this life on Wednesday April 7, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday April 10th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Washington and Pastor Johnny Norton officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Allen Rose, Dalton Hall, Hayleigh Ellis, Adrienne West, David King, and Timmie Barbee serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be BJ, Dayshon Darden, and Michael McVay. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.</p> <p>Dontarius was born April 14, 1995 in Springfield. He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 2013 and was a member of South Haven Baptist Church. Dontarius is survived by his son: Zayne Alexander Long of Springfield, by his parents: Toby and Andrea Grant Long of Springfield, by his brothers: Nicholas (Jordan) Long, Kobe Jordan Terry, Martez Long, Demetrez Barbee, and Daniel Elliott all of Springfield, by is sister: Deaundra Long of Springfield, by his grandmothers: Lula Dowlen and Rita Diaz both of Springfield, and by his grandfather: Larry Wooten of Springfield.</p> <p>Robertson County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements</p>Obituary
