Herbert Eugene Schenewerk, 91, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Wednesday, April 07, 2021 at Westwood Hills Care Center in Poplar Bluff.

Herbert was born on February 24, 1930 to Phillip and Clara Schenewerk in Poplar Bluff. He married Anna (Starwalt) on September 9, 1950, in Piggott, AR.

Herbert attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of a U-Haul dealership for 61 years and was also a retired farmer. Herbert enjoyed working and visiting with people.

Herbert is survived by his wife Anna; two children, Sue (Dennis) Fox and Nancy (Bob) Kimbrow, all of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, Andrew Fox, Nicole (Jeremy) Conover, and Julie Kimbrow; four great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Brayden Conover, Jeffrey and Kynder Fox.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Earl, Roy, and Phillip Schenewerk; one sister, Elsie Hawkins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9th, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at Cotrell Chapel in Poplar Bluff, MO

Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at 11:00am at Cotrell Chapel with Reverend Terry Sharpe officiating.

Graveside service with full military honors will take place on Monday, April 12th, 2021 at 11:00am at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
