Eva Marie (née Seipp) Thompson, 88, of Hampstead passed away peacefully at Carroll Hospital Center on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She was born in Hampstead on July 8, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Minnie Viola (née Kelbaugh) Seipp and John Herman Seipp. Eva was happily married to Alfred Thompson for 60-plus years as a homemaker. Alfred passed away in 2011. Eva was a member of the Mayberry Archery Club and was a very skilled archer. Over the years she won many trophies statewide. Surviving are her sister, Loretta Seipp and her brother, Jack Seipp, both of Hampstead. She was predeceased by brothers, John, Paul, Jake, Norris, and George Seipp; and by sisters, Shirley Steger, Ethel Seipp, Blanche Thompson, Geraldine Ruby, and Beatrice LaMott. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. The Rev.
