Ruth Taylor Frazier

<p>Ruth Taylor Frazier was born on June 7, 1938 in Germantown, Maryland to the late James and Stella Taylor. She received her heavenly wings on April 5, 2021. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She and Stansbury were married on September 17, 1960, for 60 years until her death.</p> <p>Ruth gave her life to the Lord at an early age. For years she attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Germantown, Maryland, where she loved to sing in the choir. In 1997, she and Stan made Church of the Redeemer their church home and she served as a greeter. Ruth loved the Lord and could often be heard singing while working out in the garden over the lawn mower or around the house. A few of her favorite songs were &ldquo;When I Wake up in Glory&rdquo; and &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll Fly Away&rdquo;.</p> <p>Ruth received her formal education through Montgomery County Public Schools, and graduated from Carver High School, a proud member of the Class of 1956. Education was very important to Ruth and she was dedicated to her work as a Title-1 teacher&rsquo;s aide for Montgomery County Public Schools, where she touched the lives of many children. She retired in 1992, excited to stay home to care for her grandchildren. Her skills did not stop there, as she was the neighborhood beautician, baker, and all-around caretaker.</p> <p>Ruth was preceded in death by siblings James, William, Aubrey, Bertha, Anna, and her twin Ruby.</p> <p>She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Stan; two daughters, Robin Anderson (Tavis) and Crystal Addison (Tony); four grandchildren, Taylor Johnson (Edwin),</p> <p>Jordan, Christina, and Terrell; great-grandson Amari; sister, Glenda Murray (Richard); brothers-in-law Charles Dyson and Charles Frazier; sister-in-law Juanita Frazier; godchildren Hope Tucker and Ryan Langley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.</p>
