John Andre, 55, of Lenexa, KS passed away on April 8th, 2021. He was born on July 27th, 1965 to Richard and Betty Andre. John attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and graduated in 1983. During high school, he was the manager of the football team. John loved all sports and enjoyed watching the Chiefs, Royals and Jayhawks. He also really enjoyed fishing and was very active with the Special Olympics. For around 8 years, John was a janitor at St. Joseph Hospital. John loved all people and never knew a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all. John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Tammie Andre; niece, Ashley Andre; great-niece, Gabrielle Andre-Macan; aunt, Doris Andre and numerous cousins. Memorial donations in John’s name may be made to the Special Olympics. A celebration of life will take place in the summer of 2021.
