Lois Maxine Reinoehl

Lois Maxine Reinoehl, 83, of Lena, Indiana, passed away on April 7, 2021 while surrounded by her family. Maxine was born on April 13, 1937, in Ferndale, Indiana, the daughter of Virgil and Edith (Gillogly) Martin. Maxine graduated from Bellmore High School with the class of 1955. She graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing, in Danville, Illinois and received her license as a Registered Nurse in 1958. She worked as a nurse at Clay County Hospital, in the O.B. department, for many years. Maxine loved mushroom hunting, “antiquing”, playing slot machines, and spending time with her many pets – especially her last cat Sammy. She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Edith Martin and her husband Dean Reinoehl. Maxine is survived by her kids: Terri Haddon and husband John of Brazil, Randy Reinoehl and wife Jody of Terre Haute, and Jayne McCoy and husband Greg of Brazil; grandkids: Allie Ault (Jeff), Bailey Reinoehl, Payton Reinoehl, Evan McCoy (Emily), Kyle McCoy (Keli), and Cale McCoy; great-grandkids: Ivy Ault, Liam Large, Hadleigh McCoy, Mayven McCoy, Thea McCoy, Benson McCoy, Karlee McCoy, Kylynn McCoy, and Kameron McCoy; cousin Jane Reeves; as well as many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be at Lawson – Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 10am until noon. Services will follow at noon with Brook Reinoehl officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.
