Ingrid Spieker Obituary

On April 7th 2021; Ingrid Spieker, of Parkville; loving daughter of Anna Norieka and the late Ewald Bitner; devoted sister of Aldona Nash and husband Howard and the late Raymond Bitner; cherished aunt of Amber Barham and husband Matt, Katie Skinner and husband Warren; dear great-aunt of Gwendolyn Barham, Vanessa Barham and soon to be great nephew, arriving in July; Also survived by many loving family and friends.

Ingrid was a dedicated Teacher of 33 years to Colgate Elementary School. She taught first grade and loved all of her students. Ingrid worked along side of her sister Donna and were known as "The Sisters of Colgate." Her most important job, was the care of her 92 year old mother, which she devoted her last years of her life to. Ingrid's hobbies included Calligraphy, planting, flower arranging, as well as her love of nature. She was cherished and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be greatly missed. 

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Ingrid's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - for a receiving of friends, on Monday, April 19th 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9PM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, 11AM at Evans. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Ingrid, to Zion Lutheran Church - 400 East Lexington Street, Baltimore MD 21202.
