Mary McDuffe Milton, Ontario Obituary

Mary McDuffe

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mary McDuffe on April 7, 2021. Survived by Peter, her cherished husband of 51 years, her children David (Colleen), John, Daniel (Virginia), Sarah (Tyler), and her sisters Blanche and Anne. She will be remembered by her five grandchildren and her many friends and family. Mary had a strong sense of community, donating her time and talents to many causes special to her, such as: Community Living North Halton, the IODE and St. Paul's United Church. Mary never met a stranger. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, her kitchen door was always open to family and friends or anyone who needed her. She loved to bring people together, hosting events or parties where all were welcome. Her family was her world and her grandchildren the light of her life. Whether together at an event at Mill Street or enjoying summers at Little Doe Lake, her family was her everything. Mary will be missed by the many lives that she has touched. Due to restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the ALS Society of Canada or Community Living North Halton.
