Linda Faye Bowman Sanders, age 71, of Randleman died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Sanders was born October 4, 1949 the daughter of Calvin Vester and Edith Wright Bowman. Linda was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and employed with the Randolph County Schools for 32 years where she worked in the cafeteria serving the children she so enjoyed. She loved cooking for family get togethers, going fishing, planting flowers and word search puzzles. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Sanders, and sister, Shirley Pate. She is survived by her children: Sharon Woods of Randleman, Darrell Woods and wife Tracy of Carthage, Angela Hughes of Randleman, Terry Cole and husband Brian of Asheboro, Stephanie Hayes and husband Josh of Seagrove, Stevie Brady and husband Cory of Trinity, Branson Fields of Asheboro; 14 grandchildren; Brandy, Brittany, Shana, Jessi, Hannah, Cassie, Kaili, Spencer, Alexis, Lucas, Matlyn, Adalyn, Reid, and Macy; 13 great grandchildren; siblings: Carol Cummings of Vass, Patsy Moser of Aberdeen, Harold Bowman of Fayetteville, and Ray Bowman of Sanford. The family will receive friends Friday, April 9, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at Bethel Baptist Church, 4836 Robbins Circle Rd., Asheboro, NC. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 4836 Robbins Circle Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Jody Harrison and Rev. Brian Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery,608 Browns Chapel Church Rd., Robbins, NC.
