Judith Elizabeth Nicholson, 74, of Berlin, PA, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Meyersdale, PA. Born July 21, 1946, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Golden and Anita (Topolopski) Nixon. She was also preceded in death by her foster parents, Alvin and Amy Chaney; one sister, Arlene Robertson; four step-brothers, Henry, Luther, Joseph and Charles Chaney; four step-sisters, Alma Ohler, Slinda “Buck” Chaney, Ruth Chaney and Elsie Benning. Mrs. Nicholson was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God and the Salisbury American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Harold Albert “Nick” Nicholson; two sons, David Allen (Christina) Nicholson, Berlin; Jeffery Scott (Kristine) Nicholson, Somerset, PA; two brothers, her twin, Jonathan Nixon, Cherry Hill, NC; Michael Nixon, Germany; one sister, Virginia Adams, Cumberland, MD; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
