Ida Ann Demarr Beach, 76, of Bushwood, MD formerly of Charles County, MD and Tazewell, VA passed away on April 1, 2021 in Washington, DC. She was born on November 1, 1944 in Aquasco, MD and was the daughter of the late Annie E. Green Demarr and Bernard L. Demarr, Sr. Ida was the loving wife of the late Charles Clayton Beach, Sr. whom she married on January 3, 1987 in White Plains, MD and who preceded her in death on August 18, 2014. Ida is survived by her children Diane Farrell of Bushwood, MD, James L. Gray, Jr. of Bluefield, WV, Kenneth W. Gray, Sr. of Tazewell, VA, and step-son Charles C. Beach, Jr., 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Siblings; Robert Benson Demarr of Waldorf, MD, and Mary Ellen Tolbert of Hollywood, MD. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Jessica Wilkinson and Catherine Gray, her siblings, Bernard L. Demarr, Jr., Norma H. Demarr, Fredrick Demarr, and Elsie Dye. Ida attended school in Hughesville, MD and was a homemaker. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Campbell officiating. Interment will be private.
