Imogene Adams Nation Obituary

Funeral services celebrating the life of Imogene Adams Nation will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 8, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Eddie Douglas and Reverend Bryan Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Pollock Cemetery, Pollock. The family requests that visitation be observed at the Hixson Brothers Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 12 p.m. until time of service. Pallbearers will be Neal Martin, Winston Pace, Robert Elias, Michael Elias, Daniel Rachel, and Jason DeBusk. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Curry, Paul Smith, Gene Tiley, Danny Willett, Daron Maxwell, Ricky Draper, Bucky Brewer, and Steven McCain. Mrs. Nation, 99, of Pollock, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Nation was a life-time member of First Baptist Church, Pollock and love her church and community work. She was the owner and operator for over 40 years of a hardware and furniture store. Imogene loved to take senior trips to Branson Missouri and other tourist destinations. She would always let you know what was on her mind. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Nation; parents, Albert and Nellie Johnson Adams; brothers, A.L. Adams, and Cecil Adams, and niece, Lola Elias. Those left to cherish her memory include her nephew, Roy W. Keiser; great nephew, Robert Elias and wife, Virginia; great nieces, Charlene Covington and husband, Robert, and Patty Shavers and husband, Woody; stepdaughter, Mary Dean and husband, Bill; stepson, David Nation, and numerous other family and friends.
