Wyonia “Jean” Milburn, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was 89. Jean was born to Fred and Velma Blystone on February 26, 1932 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. At the age of 16 Jean married the love of her life Virgil (Walter) Milburn and they spent the next 72yrs creating memories together. She was one of eight children, helped to raise her siblings and offered her hand to other family members throughout her life as well. After caring for her own 3 children at home for many years Jean went back to work as an employee of AT&T for the next 25yrs holding several different positions. She offered her time in the Pioneer Club and as a Safety Counselor for the company as well. When Jean wasn’t at work her hobbies included gardening, canning, crocheting and quilting. Jean is survived by her children, Twila Clark; Glenna & David Winship; and Regie & Debbie Milburn; grandchildren, Mark Clark, Dana Powell, Joshua Milburn, Rachel Milburn, Nicole & Mark Robison and Brandon Winship & Melissa Collins; 10 great grandchildren and 3 siblings, Adele Adams, Velda Dobbs and Lonnie Joe Blystone. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Ray Clark, parents and four siblings; Wallace Blystone, Lelia Mae Rogers, Faye Long, and Beverly Mogan. Cremation is planned with a celebration of life at a later date.
