Alan L. Young, age 58, of Oak Ridge, Missouri passed away, on Thursday, April 1st, 2021 at his residence. He was born on October 16, 1962 in Poplar Bluff, MO, son of Carroll Young and Eloise (Clinton) Young. He and Christia Dawn Berrong were united in marriage on November 24, 1984. She survives the home. Alan and Chrise worked side by side as contractors for the Corp of Engineers at Lake Wappapello for 13 years. Alan was last employed at Buchheit in Jackson, Missouri where he enjoyed helping and talking to customers. Alan’s hobbies included hunting, barbecuing and anything outdoors. Alan was a skilled and talented carpenter. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Survivors include his wife Chrise; daughters Jenna Young of Oak Ridge, Misty Thrower of Cape Girardeau, and Suzanne (Brian) Lewis of Jackson; Rumor & Genesis,whom resides at his home; and 5 other grandchildren, Madison & Mason Thrower; Will, Harper & Charlie Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements were under the care of Liley Cremation Services.
