<p>Phyllis Regina Moses Joseph, 71, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Windsor Care Center.&nbsp; She was born in Athens, Tennessee on July 9, 1949 to the late Clyde Ingram and Dulsie White Moses.</p> <p>Phyllis moved to Montgomery County fifty-eight years ago &nbsp;from Athens, Tennessee.&nbsp; She came to the Hope Hill Children&rsquo;s Home at the age of fourteen along with many of her siblings, she was the middle of eleven children.&nbsp; Phyllis was a member of the Hope First Church of God and the Montgomery County Homemakers.&nbsp; Besides taking care of her three children, she was a dental assistant to three different dentists over many years in Mt. Sterling.&nbsp; She was also a poet and was always taking care of others whether she was babysitting, taking a friend to the grocery, or spending time with friends from her homemakers group.&nbsp; Phyllis will be greatly missed by her family, church family and friends.</p> <p>Phyllis is survived by three children, Larry Michael Joseph, Jr. (Myra), Jonathan K. Joseph, both of Mt. Sterling and Melinda C. Joseph-Dezarn of Lexington; five grandchildren, Shayla Joseph, Taylor Joseph, Mason Joseph, Olivia Dezarn and Sophia Dezarn; three brothers, Jim Moses, Aubrey &quot;Bimbo&quot; Moses and Daniel Moses; five sisters, Sylvia Britton, Linda Earheardt, Becky Wright, Gwen Clemons and Tracye Clark.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty-five years, Larry Michael Joseph, Sr. and her brother, Billy Moses and sister, Daisy Stephens.</p> <p>In-lieu of flowers, the family request donations: Hope First Church of God, 10272 Hope Means Road, Means, Kentucky 40346.</p> <p>Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 12:00PM.&nbsp; Visitation will take place prior from 10:00AM-12:00PM.&nbsp; Both will take place at the Hope First Church of God. Pastor Glenn Sizemore will be officiating.</p>

Phyllis Regina Moses Joseph, 71, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Windsor Care Center.  She was born in Athens, Tennessee on July 9, 1949 to the late Clyde Ingram and Dulsie White Moses.
