Tony Lynn Carey was born in Kansas City, Kansas on December 22, 1960 and passed away at his home in Waverly, Kansas on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1:02 a.m. Tony graduated high school, received his CDL and was a successful business owner. Farming equipment operator and local trucking operator. Tony was a member of the Maple Hill Baptist Church and Trails End Ranch. Tony Lynn Carey was preceded in death by his brother Jay Carey, his wife Verna Jean Carey, and his Father James Robert Carey, Is survived by: Betty Joan Carey his mother, Bobby Carey his brother and Tina L. Carey his sister. Children: Vernie Sheffield/Carey, Toby Surbur, John Jay Carey and Jessica Lynn Carey. Grandchildren: Jesse Felix, Adrian Felix, Jasmine Felix, Akeyla Carey, Evan Richard Surbur and Beau Kendall Surbur.
