Frances Vermelle “Mel” Wolz of Frederick, MD, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late George Samuel Christian Wolz; devoted mother of Pamela Blanchard (the late Tom), William Wolz (Robin), Patricia Wilson (Tom), Timothy Wolz (Adrienne), and loving grandmother of Melissa, Kelly, Jackie, Michael, Robert, Lora, Ryan, Rylie, Nicole, Ashley, Brian, and Lauren; cherished great-grandmother of 16.
