Susan Camille Jones

Susan Camille Jones, age 66, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on April 4, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in South Bend, Indiana, she was the daughter of Mary Jane (Byers) and the late John Joseph Gutwald and wife of the late Gilbert Jones. Susan worked at MedStar in White Marsh for about 15 years in their Corporate Office before retiring this past year. She loved gardening, cooking, and golfing. Her passion, however, was spending time with her grandchildren and family. In addition to her mother, Susan is also survived by her children, Heather Butler and her husband, Jason; Bryan Jones and his wife, Brittany; and Sara Jones; seven grandchildren, Jillian and Phoebe Butler, Addison, Piper, and Elijah Jones, and Sevastia, Reed Jones-Denikos, and Brynn Denikos; two sisters, MaryKay McKenna and Elizabeth Bystry; and four brothers, Bernard, John, David and Peter Gutwald. In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Uriostegui and Frances Smith.
