<p>JO ANN LANIER</p> <p>DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas &ndash; Jo Ann Lanier, 69, of Dripping Springs passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Dalbo, Minnesota.</p> <p>Jo was born on September 3, 1951 in Baltimore, MD. to Grace (Erhart) and Robert Lanier.&nbsp;</p> <p>She attended North High School, Minneapolis, MN. and studied accounting at University of Minnesota.</p> <p>Jo is survived by her daughter, Cheri (Terry) Cook, Dalbo, MN and her son, Joseph (Dara Anderson) Lieske, Savage, MN.; her granddaughter, Jessica Lieske, Anoka, MN.</p> <p>&nbsp;Also survived by four sisters, Linda (Richard) Pontsler, Hereford, AZ., Pam (Mark) Firle, Hereford, AZ., Janet Drews, Bloomington, MN., Gloria Drews-Vallecillo, Manchaca,TX.; a brother, Herbert Drews Jr., Reidsville, GA.; and five nieces and three nephews.</p> <p>Jo was a woman of many talents.&nbsp; She was the owner of the Over the Rainbow Bar on W 7th St. in St. Paul, MN. for over 10 years and loved having a place that brought people together. After moving to Texas, she started an accounting service for small business owners that she ran until her death.&nbsp; She was known by her clients for her positive and patient support. &nbsp;</p> <p>Jo&rsquo;s happiest moments were spending time with her family and friends, who will miss her kind and compassionate heart.&nbsp; She had a passion for music, especially playing her twelve-string guitar.&nbsp; She was a natural performer and an accomplished singer-songwriter.</p> <p>Jo is preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Herbert Drews Sr., a brother-in-law, Erick Vallecillo-Ortez and Jeffery Chermak.</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.</p> <p>Arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home and Cremation Services.</p>

DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas – Jo Ann Lanier, 69, of Dripping Springs passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Dalbo, Minnesota.

Jo was born on September 3, 1951 in Baltimore, MD. to Grace (Erhart) and Robert Lanier. 

She attended North High School, Minneapolis, MN. and studied accounting at University of Minnesota.
