<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jack Derwood Shepherd 86, Hunlock Creek, passed away April 4, 2021 at Residential Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Forty-Fort, He was the son of the late Allan Chester Shepherd and Ruth Mae Ruggles Shepherd and was a sheet metal journeyman and project manager-estimator retiring from Paul J. Eyerman, Inc.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He was a member of Sheet Metal Air, Rail, and Transportation Workers Union 44. American Legion Post 644. Wyoming Masonic Lodge #468.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jack had served his country proudly with the Army and Navy.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He was an avid deer hunter and was especially known by his family and friends for his deer jerky, homemade kielbasa, and horseradish. He also loved tending to his flower beds, vegetable garden and hunting for wild mushrooms. He will be missed by his family, friends and Bella, his dog.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jack was preceded in death by his wife the former Marcella Emily Shively in 2015 and daughter-in-law, Lori Shepherd. He is survived by daughters, Lisa Adams and her husband Mark, Janice Middaugh. Son, Allan Shepherd and his wife Alison. Grandchildren, Joshua Middaugh and his wife Kimberly, Jennifer Middaugh and her fience&rsquo; Michael Gist, Timothy John (TJ) Shepherd and his wife Tanya, Nicole Shepherd, Ashley Grevera and her husband Christopher, Kristopher Young. Great Grandchildren,, Michael, Matthew, and Elizabeth Middaugh, Harley Gist, Ella Mohr, Dakotah Shepherd, Arianna Shepherd, and Kinsley Grevera.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; As per Jack&rsquo;s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612. On line condolences can be made to Disquefuneralhome.com.     Jack Derwood Shepherd 86, Hunlock Creek, passed away April 4, 2021 at Residential Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.
