<p>Helen Elizabeth Hawkins was born in Kansas City, Mo. on September 25, 1964 to Robert and Joyce Washington. Helen was brought up in church and was baptized at Greater Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C. Later in life she became a member of Greater Revelations. Helen received her education from De LaSalle Education Center in which she graduated in the early 80s. Shortly after Helen went into the Nursing field in which she loved and enjoyed. Her clients loved her dearly, she went beyond the call of duty for more than thirty years. Helen enjoyed seeing others happy and out of her way to for any and everybody, she also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Helen was known as &ldquo;shorty or peaches&rdquo; to her friends and always was the life of the party. Helen met the love of her life Lawrence Hakins back in the early part of 1997 and later they were united in marriage. Lawernce cared for Helen in her until the day God called her home.</p> <p>Helen was preceded in death by both parents Robert and Joyce Washington her father in-law and mother in-law LC and Pearl Hawkins. Two brothers Daouda Jalaladeen and John Turner, and a stepson Alex Dewberry.</p> <p>Helen leaves to cherish her loving memories her devoted husband Lawrence Hawkins, her children Shantica, Monnarika, and Romal Clark. Two bonus children Nicole Woods (Sidney) and Tray Dewberry. Her siblings Lure Turner, Johnnetta Durham (Clarence), Brenda Lacy, Wesley Turner (Margie), Albert Turner, Robert Turner, Mark Clark (Lavera), Mildred Fulton (Michelle Fulton), Paul Hawkins (Niecy) Larry Hawkins, Joella Bell (Lorence), Brenda Davis and two adopted brothers and sisters Robert Washington and Robbin Broome.</p> <p><strong>Due to COVID-19, please respect social distancing and face covering guidelines.
