Mary Virginia”Ginny” (Pease) McCarty 89 of Oakland City entered rest on Sunday April 4,2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born on in July 24,1931 in Sturgis, KY to William Lloyd and Agnes (Lefler) Pease. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, brothers William Leroy Pease, John Tomas Pease, son William E. McCarty Sr., grandson William E. McCarty Jr. Survived by her husband of 64 years; Estel W. “Mac” McCarty whom she married on August 31, 1956 in Evansville, IN. Also survived by daughters Jennifer Smith of Las Vegas, NV, Sandra (Marion) Reynolds of Colorado Springs, CO, Connie ONeill of Oakland City, IN. Brother Frances Pease of Evansville, IN, daughter-in-law Gail McCarty of Las Vegas, NV. Step children Michael (Rachel) McCarty of Duran, MI, Connie (Howie) Louden of Indianapolis, IN.Also 10 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Private burial will take place at later date in Montgomery Cemetery. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is honored to Assist Ginny’s family.
