<h3><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Winnie was a true spirit of the North.&nbsp;Having lived a fruitful 102 years, she loved her extensive family deeply.</span></strong></h3> <h3><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Mary Winnifred Hutchinson passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday morning, April 4, 2021, in Lac La Biche, Alberta.</span></strong></h3> <h3><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">She was predeceased by her husband, James Hutchinson in 1987 and her children Joseph Hutchinson, Ellen Doucette, Bertum, Hutchinson and Edward Hutchinson.</span></strong></h3> <h3><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Winnie is survived by her daughter Mary (Robert) Dunn of Lac La Biche, daughter Norah Hutchinson of Vancouver, son James (Jen) Hutchinson of Whitecourt, son Dale (Kim) Hutchinson of Fort Saskatchewan, as well as daughters-in-law Evelyn Hutchinson of Edmonton, Sharon Hutchinson of Lac La Biche, and son-in-law Andy Doucette of Quesnel. Beloved Grannie to 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; she will be fondly remember by them for her bannock and bells.</span></strong></h3> <h3><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Born to Llewellyn and Mary Lloyd-Walters on December 2, 1918 in Fort Resolution, NWT, Winnie was the proud daughter of a North West Mounted Police member and the fourth of ten siblings. In her early years she worked in the Fort McMurray hospital, but&nbsp;once married, her passion and joy became raising her 8 children as well as numerous foster children. An&nbsp;avid cook, baker, beader and seamstress she was always busy. Later in life she loved to travel and square dance with Jim making many lasting friendships along the way.</span></strong></h3> <h3><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">We will miss her keen sense of humour which she exhibited frequently by way of&nbsp;a smart quip or humorous response when one least expected it.</span></strong></h3> <h3><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">As a reflection of her love for children and her Catholic faith, and in&nbsp;lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp St. Louis.
