PEADEN, Louise H.

Salt Springs - Louise H. Peaden, 86, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Easter Sunday April 4, 2021. She was born October 8, 1934, in Lenora, West Virginia to the late William Carson and Brookie Hay. She retired from the United States Postal Service in Pahokee, Florida after 30 years of service.  Louise was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She truly loved God, her Church and her family. 

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Arlice Peaden, who passed away just 12 days before. She is also preceded by her son, Lance Peaden; brothers, Maynard Hay (Annalee), Ethan Hay (Faye); sisters, Martha Anglin (Basil) and Virginia "Jenny" Gillman (Ersel).
She is survived by her sons, Carson (Mary) Peaden; Curtis (Carol) Peaden; Charles Peaden, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church, Citra, FL, with Brother Billy Adair officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
