Bedford, PA – E. Jean Cover, 82, of Bedford, PA, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, at her home.  Born May 27, 1938, in Westernport, MD, Mrs. Cover was the daughter of the late Kenneth Howe and Emma Geraldine (Coleman) Howe.  She was also preceded in death by a sister: Joan Riggleman; her daughter-in-law: Susan Cover; and a granddaughter: Brandi Nave.  A graduate of Westernport High School, Jean was a homemaker and was also the Secretary of the family sawmill.  She was a lifetime member of the Bedford Valley Assembly of God Church and a member of The Gideons International Auxiliary.  Jean is survived by her husband of 65 years: Stanley Cover: and her sons: Terry Cover and wife, Sally; and Allen Cover and wife, Jamie.  She also leaves behind her brothers: Kenneth “Kemp” Howe and wife, Rhea; David Howe and wife, Norma; and Donald Howe and wife, Debbie; and her grandchildren: Nicole Engle; Tara Headley; Natasha Kinsinger; Danielle Bingham; Brandon Cover; Jessica Zimmerman; and Travis Cover.  Jean is also survived by her great grandchildren: Adara, Mireya, Aliza, Corin, Kirsten, Elijah, Joey, Nathaniel, Isabella, Brileigh, Brayton, Braelyn, Sloan, and Addison; and her great-great grandson: Everhett.  Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, Bedford Chapter, Post Office Box #627, Bedford, PA, 15522-0627.
