Perry F. Faulkenberry
Perry Franklin Faulkenberry, 89, widower of Nancy Alice Catoe Faulkenberry, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Lexington Medical Center, Lexington, S.C. Born in Kershaw, S.C., he was a son of the late Willie Faulkenberry and Lois Roberts Faulkenberry. Mr. Faulkenberry retired from the DuPont Co. and was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and enjoyed working in his garden. Surviving are his children, Chucky Faulkenberry, Roger Faulkenberry and Melissa F. (Roddy) Bowers; three grandchildren, Ashley B. (Dakota Campbell) Bowers, J.P. Faulkenberry and Brandon Bowers; two great grandchildren, Bryce Fletcher and Corbin Schram. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James Faulkenberry, Manly Faulkenberry and Fred Faulkenberry and 4 sisters, Louise Phillips, Ruth Bradley, Frances Raymond and Annie Mae Jones. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Humphries officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Levine Children’s Hospital, 1000 Blythe Blvd., Charlotte, N.C. 28203. Friends may pay their respects and sign the register book from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Baker Funeral Home. So sorry too hear of his loss. Praying for the family! Mr. Faulkenberry was one of the great people of Buffalo. He was always willing to help other out. He will be missed.
