<p>Clinton-Ruben Diaz Medina, 65, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, April 4, 2021.&nbsp; He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Glicelia (Correa) Diaz; his children and their spouses: Michelle &amp; Michael Shore of Ashland; and Ruben Diaz, Jr. &amp; Stacey of DeLand, FL; and five adoring grandchildren: Jacob and Ethan Shore, Celia Burgos, Guillermo and Severo Diaz.&nbsp; He leaves his siblings and their spouses: Juan &amp; Aracelis Diaz of FL; Moises Diaz &amp; Nivia of PR; Noemi &amp; Michael Baird of PR; Raquel Diaz of Springfield; Elias Diaz of Lancaster; Ruth Emmanuelli of FL; Sandra &amp; Bernie Fischer of Leominster; Dorcas Giraldo &amp; Mario of TX; Freddy Maldonado of NY; and Ernestina Ribot of Clinton; several aunts, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.&nbsp; He is pre-deceased by siblings Elisa Perez, Timoteo, Isabel, and Teodosio Diaz.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Ruben was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, son of the late Juan &amp; Rosa (Medina) Diaz.&nbsp; After graduating from vocational high school plumbing trade program in 1973, Ruben emigrated to the United States and settled in Clinton, where he and Glicelia purchased their home on Clark Street and raised their family.&nbsp; Ruben enlisted to proudly serve our nation in the US Army National Guard and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant after 13 years of service.&nbsp; Ruben enjoyed his primary career in plastics manufacturing, working as a supervisor for Nypro, Inc. in Clinton for many years before ultimately retiring from Cycles, Inc. in Sterling.&nbsp;&nbsp; A true jack of all trades, Ruben was always on the go, as the first to help a friend in need with any mechanical, automotive, carpentry, plumbing repair, or rubbish removal.&nbsp; He was a talented athlete and sports fan who played in baseball and softball leagues and faithfully cheered for the Boston Red Sox.&nbsp; Ruben was an avid fisherman and a car enthusiast. Above all, he was a man of great faith, a loving family man, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Calling hours will be held from 4 until 7PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. A graveside service will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Reservoir Pines Cemetery, Clinton.
