Mary Jean Daniels, of Verona, KY passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the vibrant age of 65.

She was born in Waterville, Maine on October 5, 1955. Mary was a self-employed Real Estate Appraiser. She had a tenacious work ethic which led to her thriving and building a very successful business. In her spare time, Mary often enjoyed bowling and was in several leagues. She also enjoyed traveling back to Maine to spend time relaxing with her husband on China Lake.

Preceding Mary in death were her father-in-law, Lloyd Franklin Daniels and both sets of grandparents, Omar and Bertha Poulin and Edward and Blanche Trudeau.

Those left surviving to carry on the memory and legacy Mary leaves behind are her loving and faithful husband of 46 years, Ken Daniels; caring daughters, Jacqueline (Matthew) Valentine and Jessica Daniels; brother, Scot (Terri) Trudeau; mother-in-law, Emma Daniels; friend, Tina Robinson; four legged and faithful companions, “Sparky” her King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and “Chuck” her border collie; as well as many other close relatives and friends.

Mary was a lot of things: a daughter, a wife, a mother, and a friend for which the world is now a little emptier without her light shining in it. She was the world’s most genuine person and loyal to a fault, both traits that bettered all those that that Mary came into contact with.

A visitation celebrating Mary’s wonderful life will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. In keeping with Mary’s wishes, after the services have taken place, she will be cremated and then taken to her home state of Maine where she will be laid to rest.
