Thomas Salvatore III

Thomas Salvatore III, age 80, of Fallston, Maryland passed away on April 3, 2021, at his home. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Thomas Charles and Mary Agnes (Scarlata) Salvatore and husband of 57 years to Lillian M. Salvatore. In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by his three sons, Thomas (Mia) Salvatore of Colora, Stephen (Colleen) Salvatore of Cranberry Twp, PA, Michael (Alison) Salvatore of Forest Hill; grandchildren, Alexis, Matthew, Nicholas, Alexander, Francesca, Sophia, Cade, and Avyn Salvatore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemarie Drayer. Known to his family as Skip, he and Lillian enjoyed traveling and spending quality time together. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. For many years he lived an active healthy life with activities like boating, racquetball, running, working out at the gym, and spending time at home. Tom received his law degree from the University of Baltimore Law School. He committed 35 years of his life to work in Pittsburgh and Baltimore/Annapolis for Westinghouse and Northrop Grumman as a government Contracts Executive. His career took him around the world to over 41 countries. Many stories were shared about his unique adventures. After retiring from Northrop Grumman, he pursued work at Oceaneering, Lockheed Martin, and Aerotech. “Before dust return to the earth as it was before the life – breath returns to God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
