Johnny Leland Rubac, Jr., 53, of Buckholts died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will be at the Corinth Cemetery near Buckholts. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 7 from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Rubac was born July 22, 1967 in Cameron to Johnnie Leland and Joyce Carolyn (Halpain) Rubac. He was a graduate of C.H. Yoe High School and had worked for WilsonArt for over 35 years. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2019. He is survived by: Daughter Brittney Rubac of Oakboro, NC Father Johnnie Rubac of Cameron Brother Carl Rubac & wife Anna of Cameron Sister Margaret Reigher of Cape Carteret, NC Grandson Briar Burris 4 nieces and nephews Memorials may be made to the Buckholts Brethren Church Christian Sisters.
