Henrietta Marie Peters, age 87, of Rising Sun, Maryland passed away on March 31, 2021 at Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland. Born in York, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Charles and Grace (Leathery) Hefflefinger and wife of 60 years to the late Donald Laird Peters. She had worked as a real estate agent from the 1970’s -2000 and was also artist. Henrietta enjoyed being a church soloist and opera singer. Henrietta is survived by her daughter, Dawn Teti (Michael Teti, Sr.); son Blaine Peters (Kimberley); brother, Glenn E. Hefflefinger; grandchildren, Steven Peters, Melissa Teti, Kateri Peters and Michael Teti Jr.; great grandchildren, Hudson Peters and Asher Zittle; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Lou Franke and Eva Mae Wagner. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
